Locate main water cutoff valve and ensure that it is accessible and functioning properly.

Schedule a professional cleaning and inspection of fireplace flue and chimney.

Inspect caulk around fireplace and repair as necessary.

Power wash exposed exterior wood surfaces and apply water seal treatment.

Inspect roofing for loose or missing shingles or flashing.

Schedule septic system service.
