How is the governing board structured?
Board Members will be elected residents of Fairview. There is a President, Treasurer, Vice President, Clerk, and Director.
What committees contribute to the governing board?
The Finance, Design Review, Landscaping, Snow, Pool and Maintenance committees.
Who operates the golf course? The golf course is owed by Timberlake Affiliates and
operated by the Billy Casper Management Group.
Does the HOA survey residents to find out about new interests?
Arleen Farrell, Lifestyle Director does this.
Are all the community activities included in the fees?
No. For example, classes with outside instructors and group trips are extra.
Does the HOA have a reserve fund?
Reserve funds are maintained for future repair and replacement of assets that the HOA has long-term responsibility for, and are essential to a successful community. Reserves do not fund everyday expenses or more routine needs; the operating fund serves that.
How often are HOA fees increased?
Fees have just had a small increase from 296.
Does the HOA maintain all the amenities?
Yes. However, the HOA is not responsible for the Oxford Greens golf course or golf club house as that is owned and run independently.
Does the HOA have a community newsletter or intranet site for residents?
Yes, a monthly newsletter and intranet site are in place.
Is there a process in place to get a new club chartered?
What are the rules for visiting grandchildren?
Anyone over 18 can live with you. Anyone under the age of 18 may visit for no more than 30 consecutive days.
Are there activities for visiting grandchildren?
Open swim daily, as well as specific events at different times of the year, such as the Hallowe'en party.
