Items covered by the HOA

  • Ownership and maintenance of all common area facilities, amenities and common area landscaping.
  • Ownership and maintenance of all streets.
  • Ownership and maintenance of gates and gatehouses.
  • 24/7 Community patrol
  • Enforcement of HOA governing documents, e.g. CC&Rs, Rules & Regulations, etc.
  • Provides direction to management company.

Who operates the golf course?
Ashwood Golf Course is a 27-hole golf course with three unique 9's.  It is owned by Del Webb and managed by Billy Casper Golf.

Does the HOA survey residents to find out about new interests?
Yes, regularly.

Are all the community activities included in the fees?
Yes, except for some classes, events and trips.

Does the HOA have a reserve fund?
Yes.  The reserve is 100% funded.

How often are HOA fees increased?
There is no set schedule for assessment increases.

Does the HOA maintain all the amenities?
Yes, through staff and outside vendors.

Does the HOA have a community newsletter or intranet site for residents?

Is there a process in place to get a new club chartered?
Yes. Currently there are 33 clubs and unchartered groups.

What are the rules for visiting grandchildren?
Up to 60 days in any calendar year are allowed.

Are there activities for visiting grandchildren?
Dedicated hours for use of some swimming pools. Visiting grandchildren can utilize the facilities if accompanied by a Resident Member.
