Individually, our clubhouse was voted Best Active Adult Clubhouse in 2008 by the Washington Metropolitan Sales and Marketing Council. At 29,000 square feet, it has about anything you’d want: state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis and bocce ball courts, outdoor pool, indoor pool and walking track, grand ballroom, even a wellness center.

About Our Community
Whether they’re part of a smaller, more intimate setting or a large resort-style community, amenities are one way that Del Webb encourages residents to realize their full potential as individuals and as members of a community. Amenities are more than buildings and pools and fitness centers, they are invitations to meet your neighbors and explore new interests.
At Potomac Green those opportunities present themselves in the 29,000-square foot recreation center, home to a world-class fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and an indoor running/walking track. Outdoors are tennis courts, bocce ball courts, gardens, plus walking, and jogging trails.

Meet your Lifestyle Director
Potomac Green has its own full-time lifestyle director who coordinates all events, classes, and clubs. She loves to receive the input of her homeowners and is always open to new suggestions and ideas. Born and raised in Upstate New York, Gerry Gray has been in Northern Virginia for almost 9 years. She loves music, travelling, socializing, and hosting events! In her spare time, Gerry enjoys taking care of animals and children.
Gerry joined the Del Webb team in May. Prior to joining Del Webb, Gerry worked for a property management company for six years, starting out as an assistant property manager and gradually transitioning to a full time Activities Director. Working with people and planning events is Gerry’s passion!

About the Area
Living at Potomac Green, you’ll never have to travel far to get everything you need! You’ll find a variety of worship, shopping, recreation, and entertainment opportunities at your fingertips.
Shopping
There are several large shopping centers within just a few minutes of the community that feature a wide range of conveniences including banks, fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and specialty shops. Dulles Town Center is one of the area’s newest malls and located a short distance from the community. Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Nordstrom are just a few of the nearly 200 stores at Dulles Town Center. Nearby Sterling and Leesburg feature an abundance of big name retailers including Costco, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy. Additionally, Leesburg Outlet Mall is home to over 110 stores, including Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma, that draw people from all over the area.
Recreation
There is a multitude of great golf courses in the area, including Goose Creek Golf Club, Brambleton, Algonkian Regional Park Golf Courses, Westpark Golf Club, and others. Loudoun County has a great Parks and Recreation department and there are many exciting opportunities at the Recreation Centers in the area including the Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling and Ida Lee Park Recreation Center in Leesburg, as well a variety of parks including Ashburn Park and Bles Park. Loudoun County also sponsors a renowned concert series, festivals, and holiday extravaganzas.
Medical
INOVA Loudoun Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical facility under five miles from the community just off of Route 7 in Landsdowne. For non-emergency situations, there is an NOVA urgent care facility at the corner of Waxpool Road and Loudoun County Parkway, as well as a MedicsUSA urgent care facility in the Ashburn Shopping Plaza off of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Gloucester Parkway.
Culture / Entertainment
Loudoun County is comprised of many quaint towns and villages that offer a peaceful escape from everyday life. Downtown Leesburg, Middleburg, and Purcellville are lined with unique shops and restaurants that draw people from all around the Washington, DC area. There are an abundance of beautiful wineries in Loudoun County, the perfect place to enjoy a lazy afternoon. Loudoun County is also known for its rich horse country. Take in a horse show at Fox Chase Farm in Middleburg or at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center in Leesburg.
Transportation
The Loudoun County Commuter Bus provides weekday service from the Dulles North Transit Center in Sterling (at the intersection of Old Ox Road and Moran Road) to various locations in Washington, DC. Local bus service within Loudoun County is provided by Virginia Regional Transit. In addition, there is a daily shuttle bus for homeowners that stops at the Ashburn Village shopping center, Wegman’s, Dulles Town Center, INOVA Loudoun Hospital, and the Leesburg Premium Outlets.

- Turn right onto Loudoun County Pkwy (Rte 607)
- Stay in left lane to stop light
- Proceed South on Loudoun County Pkwy
- Turn right onto Marblehead Dr
- At first stop sign, turn right onto Western Gales Blvd
- Take the third right onto Golden Ridge Dr
- The Del Webb Sales Center will be on the left
From Route 28 (heading north):
- Take the Waxpool Road exit
- Proceed to the 3rd traffic light and merge right onto the Loudoun County Parkway
- Follow Loudoun County Parkway for approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Marblehead Drive
- Follow Marblehead Drive until you reach the first stop sign at Western Gales Boulevard
- Turn right onto Western Gales Boulevard
- Take the third right onto Golden Ridge Drive
- The Del Webb Sales Center will be on the left
From the Beltway (I-495):
- Take the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) which will turn into the Greenway
- Take Exit 7 - Loudoun County Parkway bearing to the right heading north
- Follow the Loudoun County Parkway for approximately 4 miles
- Cross over Waxpool Road and turn left onto Marblehead Drive
- Follow Marblehead Drive until you reach the first stop sign at Western Gales Boulevard
- Turn right onto Western Gales Boulevard
- Take the third right onto Golden Ridge Drive
- The Del Webb Sales Center will be on the left
