Meet your Lifestyle Director
Meet Mark LaClaire, your lifestyle director. Mark's bright, positive nature is the very heart of Village at Deaton Creek, where he enthusiastically develops active adult lifestyle programs for our residents, gets chartered clubs rolling, schedules fitness, art, and educational classes, and books trips and tours both near and far. He also helps manage overall operations at the Club at Deaton Creek—our incredible $10 million, 35,000-square foot amenity center.
Mark has a true passion and creativity for events. He has been creating and organizing unique and exciting activities all over the Southeast for over 15 years. His “outside the box” thinking makes the events and activities at Village at Deaton Creek exciting, sometimes humorous, and always entertaining. He is full of surprises.
Mark is very excited to meet you, hear about any ideas you may have for fun activities, and make your move to Village at Deaton Creek the best time of your life.

Mardi Gras Dance Party-2/18
Join us for our Mardi Gras Celebration at Village of Deaton Creek! The focus is kept on what Mardi Gras is all about! Dancing and Partying with some great friends! There will be a special DJ that knows how to keep the dance floor hopping and the Mardi Gras vibe rolling! There will be all kinds of dancing from line dancing, to group party dance music, to good old fashioned rock and roll classics! We will also be flying in some authentic King Cakes for the evenings festivities. You'll have the opportunity to see our beautiful Clubhouse and mix & mingle with some great people!
Be sure to wear your dancing shoes and dress in your favority Mardi Gras attire! See you there!
