Are there true off-road walking paths? Also, what is an Initiation Fee? Finally, please tell me ther difference between a single-family home and a villa home? Thank you, Allen and Joyce.

We have six miles of walking trails that are mulched. Initial Fee for a home is: $597 We no longer have villas available. They are duplex style ranches. We now have small homes that are approximately the same size as the villas.

This could always change and would be better answered by a CPA in Georgia. I believe Georgia does not tax pensions, but does tax ss at a different rate than earned income. But definitely is a tax question
Hi, do you have line dance and Zumba classes at you place? If yes, how many times a week?
We yes have line dance and zumba at various times throughout the week. The schedule does vary and is kept at our Amenity Center, (our clubhouse).
My husband belongs to a county golf organization, which he thoroughly enjoys and which offers golf at various locations for reduced rates. Is there an organization similar to this in or nearby Deaton Creek or in Hall county? Where do most people in this area golf?
We have a partnership with Cannongate,at Hamilton Mill. We have numerous golfers and they play at Hamilton Mill or set up their own games at Chateau Elan, Reunion and other courses in the area.
How far is Deaton Creek from St. Joseph's Hospital, Atlanta? Are the residents of Deaton Creek happy with medical facilities and doctors in the area?
St. Jospeph’s Hospital is about an hour away. We have a medical center right next door and a hospital is also being built next door. The hospital is out of Gainesville, Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Yes, residents are very pleased with the doctors and services.
Hi, is there an adult day program in proximity to this community?
We have our Amenity Center that has on-going daily activities. I am not aware of anything outside of the community.
Do you like the location?
We are convenient to lots of shopping, Lake Lanier and about 40 miles NE of downtown Atlanta.
Where do you shop around here?
The Mall of Georgia, largest mall in the southeast is about 10 miles from the Village at Deacon Creek. The are smaller "strip malls" with lots of shopping including grocery stores.
How do you like living there?
I love living here and have been living at the Village at Deaton Creek for almost 6 years. Lots of really nice people and fun activities.
Are there evening activities for people who work?
Absolutely! Lots of night time activities.
If you did it over, would you move there again?
Absolutely! It is the best decision my husband and I ever made. Lots of great people, tons of activities and just a wonderful place to live.
