Meet Stacy Gooding, Lifestyle Director for Sun City Peachtree
Stacy is dedicated to delivering the active adult lifestyle that our current residents enjoy every day at Sun City Peachtree. Stacy strives to provide programs that enrich the quality of life and enhance the vitality of the community for all our residents. Our lifestyle goal is to design programs, clubs, and groups based on the interests of you, our homeowners.
On any given day, you will find Stacy mingling with residents in Club Peachtree and planning activities like art classes, educational seminars, and social events and parties - just to name a few. Her vibrant energy and laughter is infectious in and around Club Peachtree.

Meet your Sports Director
Hey Folks,
My name is Francis Ali and I am your Sports Director/ Director for Tennis here at Sun City Peachtree.
Originally, I’m from the tropical Pacific paradise called Fiji, I came to America on a tennis scholarship to play for Dekalb College here in Atlanta. After college I went back to Fiji for Davis Cup duties and representing the Fiji national team in international competition. After a semi- professional competitive career, I turned to a professional teaching career. I am a United States Professional Tennis Association certified professional!
I’ve worked at the two premier resorts in Fiji as Head Professional and Tennis Director respectively. I have also worked for the International Tennis Federation as their Pacific Development Officer.
In 2000, I decided to return to Atlanta, where most of my family resides, and continue my teaching career. I bring with me 20- years of teaching, programming and management experience during which I’ve enjoyed working with all levels and ages of tennis players with experience in the different club programs and facility management! Recently, I was selected as a “Tennis Ambassador” by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and I currently serve on the Board of Directors for USPTA Georgia.
I would love to have you all come out hit with me and or visit me at the Sports Center!

The Canongate Golf Club
For over 40 years, Canongate Golf Clubs have provided the ultimate in private golf club services. Enter a world of private club privileges like no other. With a small entry fee and monthly dues, members are able to play all courses in the Canongate portfolio throughout Atlanta. Your access to all 20 clubs not only allows you to play at 23 courses, but also enjoy pool, tennis and social events the entire family will enjoy.
The Sun City Peachtree Course – Canongate Sun City Peachtree
Residents will enjoy a 18-hole Canongate golf course designed by Gary Stephenson. The layout features elevated tees with generous landing areas willing to accept the occasional errant drive. Undulating bentgrass greens complexes provide a superior putting surface. With five tee placements, Sun City Peachtree offers a unique and fun round for varying skill levels. Sun City Peachtree showcases a haven for the golfer who enjoys practice and also offers PGA certified instruction for all player types.
Amenities
The golf shop at Sun City Peachtree offers equipment and apparel from all major manufacturers. The Professional staff is eager to assist members with equipment and apparel needs.

The clubhouse was completed early April 2009 and showcases fantastic indoor and outdoor dining and course viewing areas.

The food tasting event will be food from African, African American, Caribbean, Creole, and Southern Heritages.
