About Our Community
Del Webb at Rancho del Lago truly offers something for everyone. The entrance of the community boasts a 14,000 square-foot community center, home to a state-of-the-art fitness center where you can meet your health and wellness goals on your own, in exercise classes, or with expert help from our staff. There are craft rooms for creative expression, billiards tables for friendly competition, a library, multi-use rooms, a ballroom for dances and get-togethers, and even an exhibition kitchen.

I love offering the residents of Del Webb at Rancho Del Lago new classes, programs, clubs and groups. After working for a Del Webb community and promoting the Del Webb commitment to active adults, I want to provide them with an active adult lifestyle, and help them do the things they always have wanted to do! The choices are endless - the only requirement is having fun and getting involved!
I work with residents to establish new and exiting offerings here at Rancho del Lago. I encourage all the residents to take ownership of their community and invest in its lifestyle. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see our residents enjoying themselves in The Lodge and having a great time. I love knowing all of our residents’ names and interests because it is like having an extended family. The warmth generated by our residents is amazing; it makes everyone here feel welcome!
I have over 20 years experience planning special events and programs as an Assistant Community Center Manager for a suburb of Chicago, and working for a Del Webb community for the past four years. I like to get people involved, get their interests peaked and get them to be an active participant of a club, group, or activity. I look forward to coming to work everyday, and enjoy the things I get to partake in. It’s planning fun activities and spending time with the residents, what more could I ask for! I consider myself very lucky to have the opportunity to provide health and wellness programs, cultural programs, and continued learning programs that keep adults active, aware, and healthy. It’s my pleasure to do this for the residents of Rancho Del Lago.

Fitness Director—Nancy Glaviano
With over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness field my goal for the Residents of Del Webb Rancho Del Lago is to add to their quality of life through self awareness and physical fitness. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Exercise Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer 2003, and Certified Senior Fitness Instructor 2008.

About the Area
Del Webb at Rancho del Lago is located in Vail, just east of Tucson, enveloped by the native desert and the beautiful Rincon Mountains. The serene, rolling expanse of saguaros blends with the Rincon Mountains to the east of the community. Soak up the views, the solitude, and the privacy that comes from being apart from the hustle and bustle.
Then again, Del Webb at Rancho del Lago is convenient to the freeway, where only 20 minutes away is downtown Tucson, a city big enough to offer world-class dining and shopping, museums, theater, music venues, parks, and both Pima Community College and the University of Arizona campus.
Recreation
For the adventurous, you'll find plenty of recreational venues nearby for your fun filled explorations. Towns like Bisbee, Tombstone, Wilcox, and Tubac with historical backgrounds surround the area and are a must see for art lovers. "We met 47 years ago at our childhood lake in the Adirondacks in N.Y. We married in 1964 and have 3 girls, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 on the way. We retired early from our careers and took to the road as RVers for 15 years. We did some odd jobs and work-camping to help us through some rough patches (economy, etc.). We have enjoyed it all and spent lots of time with family and meeting new friends.
Last year we decided to buy a winter home as a place to leave things we don't need to carry with us all the time. So we started a search for a great place to give us the active lifestyle we looked for on the road and we found it at Del Webb at Rancho del Lago. It turned out to be the best decision we've made since we decided to retire early. We love the area, the people and the weather. We have also found a better, healthier lifestyle here in Del Webb. Thanks to a great staff and wonderful facilities, we plan to make this our home for a long time!!"

From Tucson:
- Take I-10 East to Exit 279 (Colossal Cave Rd)
- Travel North on Colossal Cave Rd to traffic light
- At traffic light, turn right and continue on Colossal Cave Rd to Via Rancho del Lago Blvd.
- Turn left on Via Rancho del Lago Blvd, and continue 1.5 miles

- Turn left into entrance and then left at round about into parking lot
