Resort-style living in the center of the action.
If a sophisticated “urban-suburban” lifestyle appeals to you, then welcome home to Del Webb’s Fireside at Desert Ridge, an all-ages community. Located in North Phoenix in one of the Valley’s most sought after and talked about addresses, Desert Ridge offers families the perfect combination of seclusion and serenity, yet access to upscale shopping, elegant dining, and unlimited entertainment.
The liveliness of the Desert Ridge Marketplace is just around the corner with great restaurants, shopping, comedy, and live music, but if you want to head into downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale, you’re minutes away. In fact, with such close proximity to the 101, any destination in the valley is accessible. You can head out to a number of 18-hole championship golf courses, drive to the desert for a date with nature, or into downtown to see the Arizona Diamondbacks play. Your choices are unlimited-right here within the community. With separate lap and resort-style pools, a children’s splash area, state-of-the-art fitness center, movement studio, and yoga garden you’ll feel like you’re at an upscale resort rather than your neighborhood community center. And that’s the beauty of Fireside at Desert Ridge-it’s right where the action is with every amenity possible.
Because Del Webb recognizes each family is different we have an abundance of floor plans for every lifestyle-whether you’re looking for a traditional single-family home or maintenance-free living. And you’ll have confidence knowing Del Webb’s outstanding quality can be found in each and every floor plan in such details as granite or Corian countertops, nine-foot and 10-foot ceilings, and generously sized walk-in closets. If you value the community you live in as much as you do your home, you’ll love Fireside at Desert Ridge. Welcome home.

Meet Your Lifestyle Director
“People choose to live in this community because of the active lifestyle we provide for everyone to enjoy,” says Kim Rinehart, Fireside’s lifestyle director. “We offer so many activities for every age in the community.”
Residents attend Kim’s monthly calendar of events, but they’re also quick to start their own. “We have many active groups that get together, sharing a wide range of interests including Bunco, play dates, book discussions, movie outings and sports events.”
Even so, Kim plans an extensive list that grows every month, often with input from residents. “As the Lifestyle Director, I get to know all the residents here and become part of their daily lives.

Lisa Hinckley
At Fireside, Lisa Hinckley found for her kids the close-knit community experience she had growing up in rural Iowa. That means everything to me.
As a stay-at-home mom, she’s been delighted to find many opportunities to meet people who share her interests and whose children are her kids’ age. From making gingerbread houses, to sharing in progressive dinners, to the fitness center and walking club, I love being involved, she says. The location is ideal for Lisa and her husband, who enjoys a short commute, and because Lisa’s parents live just on the other side of the Loop 101. She loves being so close to Desert Ridge. I’m there at least once at day. And the school district is perfect for my kids.
It’s warm, it’s friendly, it’s inviting. It just feels right.
Chuck Fosberg
Downsizing from larger custom homes, Chuck and his wife Jenny were ecstatic to find a townhome they love. What’s more, they found the community caters to their active lifestyle and their desire for low-maintenance living. With the pool and fitness center we have everything we need without the upkeep, Chuck says. They also saw the community center and resort style amenities as big pluses for guests. We have children and grandchildren out of town and they’ll be very happy to use the pool, fitness center, and playground equipment, Chuck says.
The value we found here was so much greater than anything we could find in North Scottsdale. There wasn’t even any comparison.
Raymond Yoro
Raymond, a systems engineer, and his wife Mia, a doctor, found Fireside at Desert Ridge after renting for about a year. We absolutely love it here. The activities and the scenery are awesome, enthuses Raymond. The Recreation Center, the tennis courts, basketball courts and gym, he says, are really intense, really cool. Raymond goes on to say, we looked at other builders but the Del Webb designs were more fresh, youthful. The whole vibe we got from this neighborhood made us feel very welcome. And with the Yoro’s planning a family in the future, this booming area is a perfect fit. It’s convenient to have schools so close by. You see a lot of families, you see kids. It’s where we see ourselves in five years.
