Meet Your Lifestyle Director
Pat Stemple was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended college in Tampa, Florida and ultimately obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Communication from The University of Akron.
After graduating Pat began what was to be a very fulfilling career in the corporate world. First, at BFGoodrich in Akron, Ohio her time was split between Labor Relations, Sales Training and Special Event Management. After 15 years, Pat left Akron for a position with The Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Michigan where she managed corporate travel, worldwide meetings and special events.
Pat moved to Gold Canyon, Arizona in 2003 with her husband, Tim; her English Springer Spaniel, Mocha and her two cats, Smokey and Tips to be closer to her Mom and Dad, Mesa residents. Pat soon began working as an Activity Director for Active Adult Communities. Prior to joining SCAMR she was with Sunland Village and Monte Vista Village Resort in Mesa.
During the past 5 years she has successfully planned and managed hundreds of special events and activities and obviously comes to Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch as a very experienced activity and event planning professional. As our new Lifestyle Director her immediate plan is to get to know the residents, acquire a clear understanding of their interests; continue strengthening the existing alliance between the Lifestyle office and the residents.
But Pat knows that’s not enough. She has learned over the years that no activity program is successful without the experienced hands and hearts of community volunteers. Pat says, “The most important program we can have at SCAMR is a Volunteer Program that recruits, recognizes and rewards its members. My job cannot be done without a lot of help from dedicated residents and community leaders who want to keep Sun City Anthem at Merrill Ranch one of the most beautiful and fulfilling places to live.”

Poston Butte Golf Club, Your New Home Course

From US 60:
- Take US 60 to Ironwood exit
- Head south on Ironwood for about 9 miles, where it becomes Gantzel Road
- Follow Gantzel Road to Bella Vista Road (about 7 miles) and turn right
- At Hunt Highway, turn left (heading southeast)
- Stay on Hunt Highway for another 9 miles
- Turn left onto Merrill Ranch Parkway
- Signs will direct you to the Sun City Anthem Sales Center
From I-10:
- Take I-10 to Exit 185 and head east on Route 387 for about 8 miles
- Turn right heading southeast on Route 87 for 6.7 miles
- Follow Route 287 for 2 miles, then turn left onto Attaway Road
- Head north on Attaway Road for 2.9 miles
- Turn left at Hunt Highway.
- Follow it to Merrill Ranch parkway and turn right
- Signs will direct you to Sun City Anthem Sales Center
